Local Activities

Taughannock Falls
Website Link
Taughannock Falls is a beautiful spot for relaxing hikes and great photos!

The cataract has a drop of 215 feet, making it one of the largest single-drop waterfalls east of the Rocky Mountains.  The water flows through a long gorge with cliffs up to 400 feet high, characteristic of the area's landscape that give rise to the common "Ithaca is Gorges" bumper stickers and t-shirts.

Ithaca Beer Company

Visit the newly-renovated tasting room at Ithaca Beer Company to try a pint or tasting flight of their famous beers.  They also have a great root beer, as well as ginger beer and sodas.

Cayuga Wine Trail

Upstate New York boasts award-winning vineyards amongst gorgeous farmland and miles of beautiful lakefront homes.  Visit Long Point Winery for a tasting flight, relax with blankets and bottles on Pumpkin Hill's farmhouse porch, or check out the delicious reserves and gift shop at King Ferry Winery.  We recommend the vineyards on the east side of Cayuga Lake close to the wedding festivities.  However, the vineyards on the west side are just a short drive away - take a look on the map link below!
